The Challenge: Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic is the official home to in-season coverage of the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards. CSNMA came to DX looking to establish their social profiles as the digital headquarters for all things DC sports and drive tune-in for their game broadcasts.
The Solution: Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic was already producing best-in-class content on a daily basis. The goal became identifying the consumers who would be most interested in their videos and articles, and aggregating them into the CSNMA social communities. Through a series of interactive digital engagements, targeted paid media, and shareable game posts, DX was able to drastically increase the daily reach of the CSNMA social profiles and build a community of segmented, accessible sports fans across the DC area.
